Dougherty Company History

The Dougherty Company was founded in 1933 by Gordon Dougherty who built the company on providing insurance services to engineering contractors (sewers, storm drains, and pipelines), mobile hydraulic crane operators, and oil lease operators and service providers. While our customer base has broadened considerably over the years the expectation of providing only the highest level of customer service instilled in us by Gordon Dougherty remains as strong as ever.
